Halloween trick-or-treating was on Friday night at my office, since they don't celebrate the holiday here. It was inside, warm and safe. What's not to love? M even came and kindly held his sister's goodybag. Lest you think this was self-serving, the fact is both brother and dad were "guiding" S towards their favorite candies. This was her first time out of the house in 7 days, since we've been battling some yuckiness - a fever the first day and then lots of runny nose and misery. Nothing, apparently, that antibiotics can't fix! And no, it's not swine flu. Or even pumpkin virus....
