(The photo above is just an add-in showcasing the joys of having two girls. We can't wait until they are both teenagers. So stylish!)The American Chamber of Commerce here does a big picnic at the Spartak stadium each year with free ice cream and soda, and the chance to buy lots of good BBQ and beer. So we dressed the girls in the matching yellow and blue colors of the Ukrainian flag (not on purpose) and headed over.
Guess which of the food products are daughter most enjoyed? Hint - see the uneaten plate of cole slaw in the background?
Thank heavens the field was contained, since it was pretty chaotic, with kids and people running all over the place. I suppose sometimes it was confusing for the younger set, as here we see our daughter clinging to our friend Terry, who is obviously not daddy. I guess it's any port in a storm!
