When I was in the US in November, I went a little bit crazy at Target, buying a few matching outfits for the girls. I picked out some nice Holiday outfits in purple, and inveiled them at the Ambassador's Family Holiday Party! We got there early, something I will do in the future, since we actually got some food and had a nice time before the hordes arrived. As expected, the kids did not feel that Santa Claus was a friend. Unexpectedly, G burst into tears. S wandered slightly off to his side, and turned her back on him - whispering to the newel post of the staircase that she would like a Princess toy for Christmas. Thankfully, Santa Claus has excellent hearing, and the asked for gifts came through. Whew!
